Pastor John and his wife, Dianne, started Grace River on Easter Sunday of 2005 with a handful of families meeting in a movie theatre. Today, Pastor John leads our church as the Senior Pastor with the same passion to see every generation experience the transforming power of God in every area of their lives.
It’s hard to believe that 2026 is already here. A new year often arrives with a sense of excitement and anticipation—fresh opportunities, new beginnings, and the hope of what God might do next. Yet for some, the turning of the calendar also reopens memories of pain, disappointment, or deep loss. When that’s the case, moving forward can feel overwhelming, or even impossible.
As we step into this new season at Grace River, we are beginning a powerful journey through the book of Joshua, a story marked by courage, obedience, and the unwavering faithfulness of God. Joshua reminds us that while God is always faithful to keep His promises, His people are called to move forward in faith. From standing at the edge of the Jordan River to choosing whom we will serve, this series challenges us to trust God and take courageous steps in a world that often pressures us to retreat, settle, or stay silent.
In addition to our Sunday messages, we are inviting every individual and family to walk together through weekly action steps designed to help bridge the gap between Sunday worship and everyday life. Our prayer is that this journey will be more than something we learn; it will be something that shapes us. As we follow God together in this new year, may we choose obedience, courage, and faithfulness as we live out the promises of God.
