OUR TEAM
Dr. John McCloud
Pastor John and his wife, Dianne, started Grace River on Easter Sunday of 2005 with a handful of families meeting in a movie theatre. Today, Pastor John leads our church as the Senior Pastor with the same passion to see every generation experience the transforming power of God in every area of their lives.
Antonie
Boshoff
Antonie is originally from South Africa and moved to Virginia Beach in 2019 to pursue his education at Regent University. He now serves as our Associate Pastor at Grace River, where he loves helping people feel at home, build meaningful relationships, and take their next steps in their faith journey.
Lateshie Wade
Lateshie, affectionately known as T’sha, serves as the Worship and Women’s Ministry Director. Since 2007, T'sha has called Grace River home. Through every season, she has remained connected to the mission of the church. T’sha brings wisdom, passion, and a heart for serving others. Her life’s mission is to empower men and women to walk confidently in their purpose and faith.
EXPERIENCE GRACE RIVER CHURCH
Here's what you can expect...
Our main parking lot entrance is off of Indian River Road while the back lot entrance is off of Lynnhaven Road. Overflow parking is available on the grass and adjacent streets. Handicap parking is avaliable in the main lot.
Childcare is available during our worship service so you can be comfortable in knowing your child is being loved and nurtured! Our goal is to ensure that your child develops into the leader God designed them to be.
Once you walk through our doors you will see the smiles and relaxed, friendly warmth of Grace River Church. There will be volunteers ready to help you and answer any questions you may have. Services begin with our worship team singing a traditional contemporary song mix, followed by a relevant, spirit-filled, biblical message.
Come as you are! We invite you to dress casually and comfortably. You’ll fit right in! After all, the Bible tells us that God is more concerned with our hearts than He is with how we dress or look.
Joining us for coffee and pastries at 9:30AM in the Connection Café is a great way to meet new friends! Joining a Grace Group is another way to meet in a smaller setting for a time of food, fellowship, discussing life, studying the Bible and praying for one another!
No, you are our guest! All we ask is you fill out a Connection Card to let us know you visited and drop it in the offering basket. When you decide to make Grace River your church home, check out our giving page to learn more about how and why to give.
