Grace River Missions

Grace River Missions exists so that every nation we touch can experience the transforming power of God in every area of their lives

Our Missionaries

Gwen and Marcus Mitchell

Marcus and Gwen first learned how God was changing lives in Hungary through supporting another missionary serving there. After getting involved in several short-term trips themselves, serving in camps, and seeing firsthand the movement of God in Hungary, they knew that God was calling them to join the Josiah Venture team serving here. The Mitchells help coordinate camp ministries, establish partnerships between U.S. churches and local Hungarian churches, and coordinate mission teams coming to Hungary. Marcus and Gwen also serve their local church and disciple young men and women as Christian leaders to go and fulfill the Great Commission.

Rebecca Brittingham

Rebecca lives in Taipei, Taiwan where she serves with two different ministries;
Gallop and GO (Gospel Outdoors). Gallop uses education as a tool to connect with the community, schools and even businesses to build relationship, and ultimately share about Jesus. Gallop experiential education courses and workshops are designed to guide people to think critically using the 4F's (Facts, Feelings, Findings, Future), to minimize misconceptions and the spread of misleading information. We have the opportunity to connect with over 120 elderly and between 35-40 young people on a weekly basis. GO’s purpose is to partner with local churches in outreach and ministry. GO’s vision is to buy a Gospel van. This van will serve as a mobile church, where outdoor church services can be held and exhibitions about Christian life can be displayed, giving the public a better understanding about Christianity.
We are so thankful to partner with Rebecca and her important work in Taiwan!

Kennedy Salano

Kennedy serves as the Lead Pastor of Kenya Assemblies Of God Kariobangi. He and his family minister through a variety of sports-based ministries, as well as an elementary school. They also work dilligently to provide training and equipping materials for other local pastors. We are proud to support his diligent work meeting a variety of needs in Kenya!

Nicaragua Thirst Initiative

Nicaragua Thirst Initiative Delivers clean drinking water to rural third-world communities. They believe that access to safe drinking water is a basic human right, but the need is great.  According to the World Health Organization, in 2020, approximately 26% of the global population did not use water from a safely managed drinking water service. Access to clean water lifts up the entire community, giving rise to educational and economic opportunities. Something as simple as water provides a path out of generational poverty for a whole community of people. Nicaragua Thirst Initiative develops relationships with the local government, hires and trains local workers, obtains the necessary equipment, and has a long list of  viable well sites. With the help of us and others, they’re digging dozens of wells per year, delivering life-giving water to hundreds of people who previously relied on contaminated water sources that made them sick.

If you are passionate about seeing the Gospel spread around the world, please consider giving to our wonderful misisonaries. Just choose the missionary you would like to support in the giving tab.

Pray

Whether you plan to give or not, please consider prayer. Our missionaries face difficulties, setbacks, and victories every day. They need  both our financial and spiritual support!
